Entrepreneurial Scholarship
The TC Foundation Entrepreneurial Scholarship Program supports students pursuing both traditional and nontraditional education pathways. One of the most common misconceptions is that all scholarships are granted based solely on financial need and hardship. We believe many merit scholarships that focus entirely on grades, extracurriculars, and skills also deserve recognition.
There are scholarships based only on merit. These awards do not consider financial need as a qualification; applicants are judged by other measures instead. Academic excellence and outstanding public service achievements are common ways in which these scholarships are evaluated.
This program provides partial or full funding for education in areas including (but not limited to) trade schools, music and arts, computer science and technology, entrepreneurship, and other unique or specialized fields down to professional sports if qualified. It also supports children with special needs or unique abilities to help expand their educational and personal opportunities outside of traditional colleges.
Mission
To recognize and empower motivated individuals who demonstrate strong merit through academic performance, skills, extracurricular involvement, entrepreneurial spirit, public service, or distinctive personal strengths, regardless of financial background.
We also consider elite athletes competing in Olympic disciplines, equestrian sports, and a wide range of other high-performance verticals. Whether on the track, in the arena, on the field, pool, ring or at the highest levels of international competition, merit, dedication, and proven excellence remain the foundation for every award.
We actively consider and support:
- Elite athletes competing in Olympic sports and disciplines
- Music and Arts
- Outstanding performers in other athletic verticals (track & field, swimming, gymnastics, combat sports, team sports, etc.)
- Students and young people demonstrating exceptional merit in non-athletic fields that align with our broader entrepreneurial and educational mission (arts, technology, trades, academics, public service, or unique abilities)
An example is our Junior Karting Pathway & Beyond:
- Our scholarship support begins early with a dedicated Junior Karting Program that develops young drivers and creates a clear pathway toward full car racing scholarships.
- The number one reason more young males and females do not get into motorsports is the cost, it can be expensive and this most commonly deters children who can have a nice lucrative career.
Award Details
- Scholarships may cover partial or full tuition, fees, books, tools/equipment, or related educational expenses.
- Awards are granted on a case-by-case basis depending on the strength of the application and available funding.
- Funding may be applied toward accredited colleges/universities, trade/vocational schools, art programs, computer/technology training, specialized skill development programs, or other qualifying educational pursuits.
- Funding is paid directly to the school, NOT to the student.

- Include students with special needs or distinctive talents who can benefit from expanded educational opportunities.
